Zombies Mode returns in Black Ops 2, bringing some changes from the old formula. Instead of the mode offering 4 player co-op, the game will now feature 8 player co-op. The maps will also be a lot bigger than before, and famous faces might return for the mode. The only confirmed map so far is a pre-order bonus, which is Nuketown Zombies.

On September 19, a video preview was added to the official Call of Duty Youtube channel for the game's Zombies mode. The trailer points out that the world premiere will be on September 26.
