The Angel Boost is one of the most useful abilities in the game and once you've gotten it, there's very few elevated places you can't go. The Angel Boost is a large air dash that can allow you to cross a rather large distance and makes you fall slightly slower. Simply activate Angel mode by equipping any angel weapon and, while in the air, hit the jump button. This will propel you forward and you while you may start to fall, you'll be able to coast as long as you remain in angel mode. Once you leave Angel mode, you'll begin to fall as normal.
You'll get this ability during Mission 3 - Bloodline. Later on, during Mission 7 - Overturn earn an improvement to Angel Boost that allows you to perform a super boost when you land in a green ring in the air. It will not appear in your Abilities menu, however.
