DmC: Devil May Cry - Leap

Leap is a special ability that requires the Ophion Angel Lift to work but is not actually an upgrade to that ability. When you pull yourself towards an enemy, stay in angel mode and then hit the jump button just as you strike your enemy. You will use the enemy as a leverage point and leap into the air. This gives you height and, if you don't do anything else, will land you just behind the enemy for further attacks.
