The Death Knight is the most common of the Knight enemies. While this might make him sound like a push over, they can frequently come in groups or with other enemies that quickly make them difficult. Because of their shield, they can be tough to get rid of quickly, making them an obstacle. This can make them even more of a pain when you accidentally run into them while focusing on other enemies.
There are three main ways of dealing with these enemies. The first and simplest is to jump over their heads and quickly come down behind them with an attack like the Helmbreaker. Once you have the Arbiter or Eryx weapons, you can hit them through their shield or even break it, allowing for much simpler combat. In some instances with much faster enemies in the mix, it's easier to just fight them without the heavier weapons. To do this, use the Ophion Demon Pull to yank them forward and break their guard, allowing you to get inside and hit them hard and fast.
