The Shielded Bathos is very similar to the original Bathos. Like the unshielded form, this enemy attacks primarily by shooting bombs at you. The bombs land on the ground, tick off and then explode. Be sure to watch for the glowing projectile and then the glowing ripple that emenates from where the bomb landed. The Bomb can be reflected back at the Bathos to deal damage by using sweeping attacks. Before attacking, the Shielded Bathos will shriek quickly to let you know the attack is coming.
To attack the Shielded Bathos, you must attack it just like any other shielded enemy (like the Knights for instance). You can use a heavy weapon like the Arbiter or Eryx to hit through the shield. In addition, since the enemy is so much lighter, you can instead use the Ophion Demon Pull to yank the shield from their hands. Once that's been accomplished, they aren't much different from the regular Bathos except that they take a couple of extra hits to die.
