The Ravager is a very aggressive enemy that uses a chainsaw for combat. Most of his attacks come with a golden glow. While he's glowing like this, he'll take reduced damage and is almost impossible to stagger. In fact, the only known way to stagger him when he is glowing is to use the Drive ability.
While not overly dangerous on his own because of his pronounced attacks, when paired with others of his kind or even much simpler demons, he becomes quite dangerous. You then have to balance being hit by the Ravager with actually going on the offense. The key is to actually try to keep on the offense. Get some distance from him and then drag enemies over to you. When he gets ready to rush you, hit him with Drive and then resume your combat.
Alternatively, you can use Demon Pull to drag a Ravager over to you when they aren't glowing and then put them in the air to finish them off quickly.
