After the cutscene, which is pretty visual interesting, Dante will be in the employee section of the Virility warehouse. Since Dante doesn't have any abilities in real life, simply follow Kat until you are thrust into limbo.
Since the warehouse is full of containers, naturally you'll be doing a lot of traversal. Start by heading up and taking the left path using Demon Pull. You will quickly reach a set of Angel Lift's that lead to a small platform with a lot of Demon Pull containers in front of you. Instead of heading forward using Demon Pull, look up and left to spot an Angel Lift high in the sky. Use the Demon Pulls directly in front of you to get high enough to use the Angel Lift you just spotted and reach the Lost Soul #27. Now return to the containers below and continue to a fight.
| Normal Difficulties | Pathos x2, Stygian x2 |
| Enhanced Difficulties | Shieleded Pathos x2, Stygian x4 |
| Dante Must Die! | Shielded Pathos x2, Stygian x2, Elite Stygian |
Demon Pull the container on the left wall and use it to reach the Angel Lifts that take you to the other side of the level, where you would have ended up had you taken the right path originally. Turn left and perform an Angel Lift, followed by a Demon Pull, and then a Angel Boost. If you fall, don't worry the doors will stay open.
| Wave 1 | Wave 2 | Wave 3 | Wave 4 | |
| Normal Difficulties | Hell Knight | Stygian x2, Hell Knight | Shielded Pathos x3, Stygian x2, Tyrant | - |
| Enhanced Difficulties | Hell Knight | Stygian x2, Frost Knight, Hell Knight | Witch, Tyrant | - |
| Dante Must Die! | Hell Knight | Stygian x2, Frost Knight, Hell Knight | Ravager x2, Tyrant | Bathos x2, Dreamrunner |
| The Hell Knight is the opposite version of the Frost Knight, meaning it only takes damage to Devil attacks. Holding R2/RB, got all out on the Hell Knight without worry of being set on fire, as Dante is immune in Devil mode. Repeat the process in wave 2, being a little cauious of the Stygian attacks, and then prepare for the third wave. Firstly, you want to take out the Pathos by using Demon Pull and then you can focus on the Stygian. When you are left with only the Tyrant, use the same strategy you used in the chapel on the previous level. | ||||
Start by climbing the green crates on the one side of the yard and look for the Angel Lift in the distance that you'll need to boost to. This will lead you to the Lost Soul #28. You can then Angel Lift/Boost back to the yard. You can plainly see the Copper Key #4 behind a gate, but to reach it you will need to jump up on the crates to its right to get behind and collect it.
Continue to the a large area with a Divinity Statue and them climb the boxes nearby to reach a Copper Door - Demonic Conflict. Now drop and continue, shooting the Demonic Shards, until you reach another large area with a glowing red pipe and a quick fight. Using the glowing pipe, pull the platform across the area and advance to reach the Lost Soul #29 on the right wall.
Follow the right wall, using Angel Boost, until you reach a container that can be Demon Pulled on your right. Do so and advance for a quick fight with some knights.
| Normal Difficulties | Hell Knight, Frost Knight |
| Enhanced Difficulties | Stygian x2, Ravager x2 |
| Dante Must Die! | Rage x2 |
Instead of advancing, face the area you just traversed and the head left over a container to find the Lost Soul #31 hiding on the far wall. Now return to the area where you fought the knights and look up. The Lost Soul #32 can be gotten by jumping up the crates on the oppsoite side of the area.
Lost Soul #30
This Lost Soul requires Aquila, but if you want to know the location now it is on the upper level, across the way from #31, past some glowing vines on a floating conatiner.
From the highest level, head to the Angel Lifts on the left side of the room (facing out into the large room) and use them to propel across the area, Demon Pull a black web, and then continue to Angel Lift into a red container and reach the Eryx crystal wall. Now, turn around and Angel Lift to the right platform and follow it to the Argent Key #3.
When you are ready, return to the area where you fought the knights and continue until the next big room with some big fights.
| Wave 1 | Wave 2 | Wave 3 | |
| Normal Difficulties | Stygian x12 | Ravager | Frost Knight, Hell Knight |
| Enhanced Difficulties | Stygian x12 | Death Knight, Dreamrunner | - |
| Dante Must Die! | Elite Stygian x3, Hell Knight x3 | Lesser Stygian x3, Witch | - |
After the fight, you will need to find your way out of the maze. The correct path is: Right, straight through the angelic vines for a Small Vital Star, 2nd Left, Aerial Boost over the two pools of liquid, kill the Death Knight, break open the wall with Arbiter to acces the Silver Door - Displaced Skirmish, take a Left from the room, kill the Ravager, enter the nearby door to reach a Divinity Statue.
From the Divinity Statue, turn around and follow the path to the mixing room for a fight.
| Wave 1 | Wave 2 | Wave 3 | |
| Normal Difficulties | Stygian x2, Ravager | Stygian x3, Hell Knight | Tyrant x2 |
| Enhanced Difficulties | Stygian x3, Hell Knight | Harpy x2, Stygian x3 | Tyrant x2 |
| Dante Must Die! | Shielded Bathos x2, Ravager | Lesser Stygian x12 | Tyrant x2 |
| The first two waves should not pose much of a problem, just avoid the leaking containers of goo and keep your chain up. When the Tyrant x2 comes out, you will need to try and split them up by having 1 charge you and the other getting stuck behind the central column and away from Dante. If you manage to separate them enough, you can unleash a good deal of damage on a Tyrant without worrying about his buddy attacking you from behind. Be careful, as the liquid likes to go all over the place and kill your chain, if the Tyrant's don't do so themselves. | |||
When the fight is over, approach Kat to finish the level.
.When you first gain control, just follow Kat along the path because there really isn't much else to see. When you get to the room with all of the boxes and crates, search around until you find a large open area. Kat will lay down a seal on the ground and you'll use it to enter Limbo.
When you arrive in Limbo, you can make your way across the crates however you like. Once you've traversed this area using a combination of Demon Pulls and Angel Lifts, you'll land on a large platform and be attacked by a Hell Knight. The Hell Knight are very similar to the Frost Knights as they are immune to all attacks except for from demonic weapons. Take out Arbiter and go to work. Be aware that the Hell Knight has a Hell Fire attack which turns the ground into magma. When this happens, if you hold the button to keep Arbiter equipped as if you were about to attack, you'll be in "Demon Mode" and not be effected by this. Aside from these two qualities, the Hell Knight is almost identical to the Death Knight.
After you've gotten rid of the Hell Knight, a few Stygian will appear. They shouldn't be much of a problem and they will be followed by another Hell Knight who is followed by a handful of Stygians and a Tyrant. Remember to try and get a Demon Pull on his backside to pull him down. During the fight, keep an ear out for some Pathos as a couple may appear.
| Copper Key |
| Before leaving this area, keep an eye out for a key on the right side hidden behind a fence. While looking at it, you'll need to head right a little bit. From here you can jump up and go around the fence. Once behind the fence, drop down to grab the key. |
Leave the area and make your way through the hallways beyond. Take a quick left and a right to find a Divinity Statue. Keep going past the statue and in the next hallway, you'll encounter a Demonic Shards. Climb the boxes in the next room and go into the large open room.
When you first enter this room ,you'll be attacked by a couple of Pathos. Just pull them to you and kill them so that you don't fall off the edge chasing them. You can go directly ahead or go to the left. Take whichever path you'd like and cross the floating platforms.
When you get to the other side, start to head in a little ways and you'll be attacked by both a Frost Knight and a Hell Knight. These pairings can be a little tricky because if you hit one of them with the other weapon, it will knock you off balance and you'll likely be close enough to both of them to be hit. Try to draw the Hell Knight out by using the Demon Pull if you can so that you can separate them a little. If not, you can always pull yourself in to the Frost Knight and then quickly bounce him into the air for an aerial combo.
From here on, follow the signs for the Mixing Chamber. Enter and follow that path as it leads you into an empty square room. A group of five Sygians will spawn into the room with you but you can just start laying into them with Osiris to make quick work of them. As you kill them, more will spawn in. As you start to kill them, a Ravager will appear. You should know how to handle a Ravager at this point but when you kill him, be ready for another Frost Knight/Hell Knight combo.
As with last time, try and find a way to separate them before really attacking. With them separated, they shouldn't pose much of a threat. Finally, when you've eliminated both of them, three sets of Demonic Shards will spawn. Just start shooting as fast as you can and Dante will switch targets automatically when one dies.
Leaving this room, go into the hallway just at the top of the stairs. On the floors, you'll see white arrows pointing away from you. Follow the arrows and they will lead you in the direction you need to go.
| Argent Door - Displaced Skirmish |
As you make your way along, keep your eyes peeled to the left for an Arbiter door. Behind that door will be this secret door. Be careful coming in here because there's an enemy spawn right at that intersection and you may have run through it without noticing the spawn. |
You'll eventually cross an intersection and "Kill Dante" will appear on the floor and you'll be attacked by a Death Knight. Let loose on the death knight and continue on your way. Further up will be a Ravager but you'll likely be right on top of it by the time it has managed to fully spawn. Because of this, you should be able to knock him right into the air. With the ceiling so low, you will likely be able to just keep swinging to juggle him.
Just up the hall from the Ravager will be the room with the large vats. Before you have a chance to make an exit, you'll be attacked by several enemies. The first wave will consist of a few Stygians and a Ravager. This are can be a little bit of a pain because the various vats can spill a liquid on the floor. While this doesn't do damage to you directly, it slows you down quite significantly. There are 12 vats in total and between each set of three is a safe spot where there are no vats.
This is a good staging point from which to fight. Try to pull enemies over to these spots to separate them. When you have a free moment and enemies are starting to swarm you, try to watch the pools of liquid. When the path is clear in one direction or another, make a break for the next safe patch.
After the Ravager, you'll have to contend with a Hell Knight but without the Frost Knight, this will likely be easy enough. Remember to use Demon Mode (take out Arbiter) when the ground starts to turn because you may not be able to find a safe spot to retreat to in this cramped space.
Finally, you'll be attacked by a pair of Tyrants. Try to lure them around the central point to separate them a little. This will give you some room to dodge and then drag them down with your Demon Pull. If you can manage to get rid of one of them like this pretty quickly then the second shouldn't be anything more than you're used to.
As you make your way along, keep your eyes peeled to the left for an Arbiter door. Behind that door will be this secret door. Be careful coming in here because there's an enemy spawn right at that intersection and you may have run through it without noticing the spawn.
