Nothing like an upside down world to get your day started. Jump up the floating platforms and make your way to the Eryx crystal wall and use the D-Pad to switch your weapon type and break the wall down. Inside the game will explain how to jump and use Eryx to break crystal in the floor; do this and then Angel Lift to another spot where you use Eryx to punch a vehicle. Continue until you reach your first fight in the mission.

| Eryx is great for these battles, as it dishes out the heavy damage, protects Dante from the flaming floor, and a fully charged uppercut can break through even the Tyrant's charge. Use these new gauntlets to your advantage while making sure to evade attacks from smaller enemies. | |||||
After breaking through both doors for a short cutscene and then use Angel Lift/Boost and Demon Pull to proceed. When you reach the Eryx crystal wall, turn left and spot the Lost Soul #35 in the distance. Once you have the Lost Soul, break the Eryx crystal wall and proceed via the Angel Boosts.
When you reach a ramp that goes down to a fight with two Shielded Bathos, turn around and look for the small platform attacked to the building on the right and make your way to it. From this location, Demon Pull the container out and punch the Eryx crystal. Now turn around and Angel Boost to the platform on the right to gain access to the Gold Door - Divergent Slaughter and the Lost Soul #37 inside.
Head back outside to the container and look off to the left now for some glowing vines.
Copper Key #6 & Lost Soul #36
Using the Aquila's Round Trip attack, clear the vines and enter the room for the key. When you exit, Angel Lift twice to reach the Lost Soul nearby.
You can now continue through the container to a Large Vital Star and Angel Lift to another platform and continue to a quick scene. Continue until you spot the strange creature and then look left to spot an Angel Lift. Using Angel Boost directly across from the Divinity Statue, glide across and then Angel Lift to reach the new area which has an Argent Key #4 in the room nearby. Now return and continue to a fight.

| Dante Must Die! | Rage | Witch, Rage x2 |
| Rage's are deadly due to their speed and attack combos. I suggest that you keep them airborn if possible and dwindle their life semi evenly. Why? Well, when you defeat the first Rage, the other will go crazy and become super powerful. Avoid it when glowing and then finish of the little life it has when open. | ||
To continue, jump through the window that the little creature did and the look left to get the Lost Soul #38. Continue to the elevator and then right at the fork to find the Lost Soul #39 attached to the other side of the wall. Now make your way all the way up the elevator shaft via Angel Boost and Angel Lift.
When you reach the top floor, identified by two brown boxes, jump around the left side of the nearby boxes and Angel Boost back onto the platform to get the Lost Soul #40 on the other side. If you are havint issues, take the long way counter-clockwise around the shaft to reach the other side. When you are ready, board the elevator and use the Eryx's Stomp attack to lower the elevator.
Enter the room and get the Lost Soul #41 before breaking the Eryx crystal with Stomp and continuing to a fight.

| Dante Must Die! | Rage x2, Witch |
If you didn't see it in battle, highly unlikely, make sure to check the room for a Copper Door - Angelic Warefare. If you do not have a key, no worries, since the Copper Key #7 is located directly above and accessed via the Angel Lift and turning around to spot it. Now continue to the Divinity Statue and get the Lost Soul #42 hanging on the opposite wall.
Using the Angel Lift nearby, exit the area and head down the walkway until a major disaster blocks your path. Using Angel Lift and Angel Boost, make your way to the old man for a fight.

The mission will end directly after the fight.
