Letters of the Lost are the remnants of when the Japanese occupied the Rook Islands. When you get them, they will offer an insight of the happenings during WWII. They are always found on the corpses of former Japanese military, and in old bunkers or by large cannons. Each Letter acquired will give you 500 XP.
#1) X: 435.3, Y: 645.6. This letter is next to an artillery gun, with the dead body holding it being right next to it in plain sight.
#2) X: 361.9, Y: 708.7. This one is in plain sight, inside of a bunker, that is close to a big artillery gun.
#3) X: 461.8, Y: 767.2. The body with this letter is inside of a cave. The entrance is found to the north of it, just next to the road that is just north of it.
#4) X: 378.5, Y: 740.2. This one is inside of the bunker, with the body being on the left side; it's in plain sight.
#5) X: 530.3, Y: 741.6. The body with this letter is located inside of a cave. From the triangle-shaped trio of paths nearby, follow the one going southeast until you spot a tiny black spot on your map. This is the entrance to the cave with the body and letter.
#6) X: 600.7, Y: 620.8. This letter is inside of a bunker that is on the beach. It's in plain sight.
#7) X: 682.2, Y: 811.2. This body is inside of a bunker. As soon as you enter, take the first left and the body will be in the corner of the little hallway.
#8) X 629.6, Y: 643.9. This letter is found on a body that is inside of a bunker that is part of the land. It's underneath of a wooden platform.
#9) X: 632.5, Y: 601.4. The body with this letter is in the bunker to the north, in plain sight.
#10) X: 703.1, Y: 575.3. This letter is inside of a bunker, in plain sight.
#11) X: 799.7, Y: 749.9. This letter is inside of a bunker. The entrance is a little hidden, so go to the main road to the southwest, then the little path that starts nearby. Where the path starts on the right side is the entrance.
#12) X: 802.4, Y: 756.7. This letter is hidden inside of a cave. Go northeast of the letter icon on your map to the water's edge, where you should spot a cave's entrance. Follow this to the end to find the body with the letter.
#13) X: 777.8, Y: 618.8. Another letter inside of a bunker and in plain sight.
#14) X: 602.6, Y: 457.7. This one is in plain sight, inside of the bunker on top of the hill.
#15) X: 471.5, Y: 418.1. Go to the coordinates given to find a hole covered by some shrubs. Jump in to land in some water, where you'll find the body with the letter on the nearby rocks.
#16) X: 528.6, Y: 399.8. This one is in plain sight, with the body being in the grass right outside of the large cannon.
#17) X: 407.8, Y: 498.9. This one is in plain sight, as it's not hidden at all.
#18) X: 374.6, Y: 315.5. This letter is located underground and you need to find the entrance to the actual bunker, as it isn't in plain sight. If you go to the coordinates, which are off a road, you'll be on top of the bunker. Go right and down the hill, where you'll find the entrance, so just follow it to the end to find the body with the letter.
#19) X: 237.5, Y: 425.4. This letter is east of Gaztown, and there's a road that leads out of the town, so take it. There's a little outhouse-like building by the main house, which has a ladder that goes underground. The letter is in this little underground area.
#20) X: 496.4, Y: 502.2. This one is inside the bunker, where you will have to go down some stairs. Otherwise, it's in plain sight.
