The flamethrower is an incredibly destructive weapon that can lay waste to anything flammable. Use carefully to avoide getting burned.
The Flamethrower spews a constant stream of fiery napalm with a virtually unlimited fire rate (until you run out of ammo and have to reload of course). It is reloaded by napalm canisters, which are not easily found, and can be costly to replenish at the shops. This deadly weapon (to both user and enemy) unlocks for free by activating 6 Radio Towers.
Alternatively, by completing the mission Kick the Hornets Nest (in which Willis Huntley orders you to burn Vaas' Weed plantation.) you will also unlock the weapon for free. Be careful, as almost everything in the game can be lit on fire by it, including animals, and vegetation which causes it to spread quickly.
