Trials of the Rakyat are survival-based missions where you have a certain amount of time to kill as many enemies as possible with a predetermined weapon. On some of the missions, you will cycle through weapons with every kill. These missions are marked on your map with a star, and you start them from interacting with large, red stones.
You will find that there is a name written on each stone, which is the name of the person who has the highest score. This doesn't seem to reflect the online leaderboards, but only the scores set by the Ubisoft staff, as well as your own. In order for the Trial to count as complete, all you need to do is beat the third place score.
BONECRUSHER
- Where: X: 584.3, Y: 753.6
- Weapon: Vehicle
- 1st: 240 points
- 2nd: 210 points
- 3rd: 135 points
You will be behind a vehicle for this Trial, with your sole goal being to run over as many enemies as possible. The best option is to just keep driving forward, using the detection meter as some sort of compass as to where the next enemy will be located.
BULL'S EYE
- Where: X: 633.8, Y: 597.2
- Weapon:
- 1st: 315
- 2nd: 230
- 3rd: 170
You are equipped with a sniper rifle and must take out as many enemies from a distance as possible. The best thing about this Trial is that you do not have to reload at all, but one problem is that you might have trouble going for headshots, since you cannot zoom in with the sniper.
DASHING ASSAULT
- Where: X: 475.0, Y: 693.0
- Weapon:
- 1st: 440 points
- 2nd: 270 points
- 3rd: 120 points
You're in a camp with a bunch of normal enemies. Your best option at first is to use stealth to build up some points, then you can go running and gunning. Remember to hit time barrels and aim for headshots when possible.
DECIMATION BARRAGE
- Where: X: 360.8, Y: 324.8
- Weapon: RPG-7 and DShK
- 1st: 310
- 2nd: 260
- 3rd: 185
You're inside of an old bunker and you have both a RPG-7 and a DShK at your disposal to take down as many helicopters as possible within the time limit. Each helicopter will grant you 20 points, 10 for each enemy inside, so it's going to take a while to get to the top score. Note that it's a lot easier to get a high score with the DShK than with the RPG, since you need to reload the RPG after every shot and you'll likely need to heal more often, too.
FRAG ME UP
- Where: X: 647.2, Y: 763.9
- Weapon: Grenades
- 1st: 280 points
- 2nd: 245 points
- 3rd: 190 points
This can be a challenging Trial to complete, simply because all you have to use is grenades. You will mostly encounter Assaulters and Defenders, which come in the jeeps. These most wonderful targets for multiple kills, since you can cook the grenade and time it so the explosion hits the jeep and enemies. You will likely run into a helicopter as well, so time the grenade throw right to down it. To get an extra jump on points, stealth kill the first two enemies before going berserk with grenades.
FURIOUS GUN
- Where: X: 368.9, Y: 427.3
- Weapon: Different weapon after every kill
- 1st: 380
- 2nd: 320
- 3rd: 205
This is the only Trial where you don't have a set weapon for the whole thing. You start out with a handgun and after every kill you get with a weapon, it will switch to a different one. The best option for this Trial is to just keep moving and monitor your health, healing whenever you get low. If you make it far enough, you will eventually fight a Heavy Gunner, which is a nice boost to your score.
HIDE AND SEEK
- Where: X: 424.4, Y: 767.7
- Weapon: Silenced 6P9
- 1st: 305 points
- 2nd: 240 points
- 3rd: 170 points
This Trial emphasizes stealth over running and gunning, as you are only equipped with a 6P9 with a suppressor attached. It is best to go stealth as much as possible, killing each enemy with a headshot, as this will net you extra points. If you do get caught, make sure you try to hide in some of the foliage, using Takedowns on enemies as they get close enough.
HOSTILE SWAMP
- Where: X: 465.6, Y: 358.8
- Weapon: ACE
- 1st: 385
- 2nd: 275
- 3rd: 155
This is a pretty big map, but it isn't so hard to rack up a lot of points once you get going. It's good to stealth kill the first few enemies, then you'll likely to be spotted, so running and gunning is what you should do afterwards. The enemies you encounter are all close range ones or they throw Molotovs.
LORD OF FIREPOWER
- Where: X: 554.4, Y: 433.7
- Weapon: U100
- 1st: 375
- 2nd: 260
- 3rd: 190
You are wielding a LMG and start out on a boat, with Molotovs as your throwable. Stealth Takedown the first two enemies, then start running and gunning. Once all the men on the boat are down, start moving forward through the caves. Eventually, you will run into two Heavy Gunners, so use your Molotovs and aim for their heads; you want to kill these as they're each worth 50 points.
OVERHEAT
- Where: X: 470.8, Y: 458.3
- Weapon: DShK
- 1st: 410
- 2nd: 340
- 3rd: 270
You are manning a stationary machine gun and have to kill as many enemies as possible. You will have to deal with enemies on foot, enemies in trucks, boats and even helicopters. Besides the enemies, you have to keep a careful watch on the meter in the lower right, which monitors the overheat capacity of the MG. One last important note is to not forget about healing yourself, as you'll likely be getting hit a lot.
POINT BLANK
- Where: X: 759.8, Y: 698.9
- Weapon: SPAS-12
- 1st: 445
- 2nd: 535
- 3rd: 650
Don't let the point requirements fool you, as this challenge can be pretty easy to complete. You have a shotgun and all of your enemies are Beheaders, which charge you and try to melee you. That means they will all be coming after you, so you don't need to chase them down. Try and aim for headshots, to get more points out of each kill. Also, don't forget to get the time barrels strewn throughout the map, as you will want the extra time.
TRANSPORT DESTRUCTION
- Where: X: 756.5, Y: 746.0 (right outside Badtown)
- Weapon: RPG
- 1st: 215
- 2nd: 155
- 3rd: 120
You have the RPG and various vehicles with enemies will come driving by, sometimes stopping and the enemies getting out. The best idea here is to take out as many enemies with one blast, maximizing the number of points you can get with each shot, as the RPG requires reloading after every shot and it's slow.
