Assault Rifles are one of the more common weapons you will find in the game. They are meant for mid to long range combat situations, and are ideal for ranged battles. They don't fire as fast as SMGs and aren't as accurate as Sniper Rifles, but the abundance of assault rifles make them an appealing weapon.
