The Recurve Bow is a great weapon, as it can deliver an instant kill to non-Heavy enemies. Also, it can be used to silently take down enemies, since it makes no noise when firing it. Another great plus for the bow is that it allows you to retrieve the arrows (should you find them), making it a great point in saving ammo. It is recommended that you retrieve the arrows, as arrows cost a premium of $100 per ten arrows. One drawback is that without attachments, the bow can be a bit challenging to aim when at a distance. The reload rate for this weapon is quite fast, however you must wait for Jason to pull the bowstring all the way back in order to achieve maximum power and range.
