Agreed. It was disappointing. The original BioShock is much better. -
I don't know I thought it was pretty good. Pretty much the whole game up until the end was a bit above average (I much prefer Rapture to Columbia). But the ending was quite brilliant; slightly confusing at first but brilliant nonetheless. Did it have plot holes and unanswered questions? Definitely. But I try not to get too upset about that type of stuff because I have yet to see a game, movie, or TV show that doesn't have at least a few plot holes or unanswered questions (it's really difficult to make a perfect universe).
Needless to say, Bioshock Infinite lived up to my standards.
I hope the next Bioshock will take place on the moon or in outer space. -

*some minor spoilers here, though nothing plot related* I absolutely love the first BioShock - it's probably my second favourite game of this generation - but Infinite... well, it's dull. Almost everything is worse compared to BioShock, from the inferior...

Meh, didn't really like it either. They just wanted everything for this game: time travel, art, music, futurism, communism, religion, history, story, shooter, rpg, scenery, ... but then didn't deliver or excel at any of them. The storytelling was outrageously bad and then just threw everything at you right at the end. Regretfully only mediocre imho. -
What difficulty do you play on? -
Probably you're not liking it because you haven't finished, but be sure that when you hit the finale, you're gonna love this masterpiece

Accorded to The New York Times, bioshock infinite costs $100Million to develop and another $100M will be spend on marketing. http://www.destructoid.com/bioshock-infinite-among-most-expensive-games-of-all-time-249310.phtml Holy... shit O.O

Yeah, there was no way this game costed that much to make. They would have to sell something like 4 million full price to even make up the initial costs. -
mmh nice. Would be dangerous though to invest that much in a game like this.
I can understand CoD and GTA. But bioshock would be dangerous play^^ -
Update: For his part, Ken Levine has denied reports of a $200-million budget:
"200 million for Infinite? Did someone send some checks to the wrong address?"

I'm just gonna say... Troy Baker rocks my socks. That man knows how to sport a scarf and he's always a great voice.

We might say thinks like "disappointing" or "a let down" but when there's only one game that you can compare it to, that's putting it at the very top. In fact, I would dare say that it would be difficult to compare the experience of Bioshock Infinite with any movie or book that isn't considered a true work of Art.
What was the last movie that made you think like this did? What movie made you ask so many questions?
