Unique Characters are those such as the main characters of the game and are generally any others that join your party that cannot be created in the Dark Assembly. They cannot change to another class and also cannot be Promoted, although they can be Reincarnated. Reincarnation will increase their Aptitudes by 5% for the first 5 Reincarnations, after which they gain no bonuses.
As with Monster Classes, Unique Characters will learn new skills as they level up.
