The Rockyland is a pretty simple are. You'll have plenty of visibility on the Rockylands but the monsters can be quite dangerous ranging from large swarms of spiders to Tallbirds. Braving these creatures will reward you with large amounts of stone and gold.
It is impossible to plant anything on the Rockylands so it would be impossible to set up any signficant settlement in this Biome.
