Corn can be grown on a farm from seeds. Unlike most other foods, your direct benefits from corn don't increase when being cooked. Corn actually loses half of its hunger benefit but in return, it increases how long it takes to rot by 50%. Generally speaking, however, it is better to eat it uncooked if possible.
