Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is an action-adventure game being developed by Kojima Productions which is due to be published by Konami for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4,  Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is an upcoming action-adventure video game, developed by Traveller's Tales for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. The game will feature gameplay similar to other Lego titles, alternating between action sequences and puzzle-solving.

The Last of Us is an action-adventure post-apocalyptic third-person survival horror game developed by Naughty Dog exclusively for the PlayStation 3. The game follows the story of Joel, a middle-aged black-marketeer, and Ellie, a brave teenage girl, as they work together to survive in cities reclaimed by nature, decimated by plague, and littered with gangs and other hostile survivors.

Marvel Heroes is an online Free-to-Play MMO game developed by Gazillion Entertainment and released for Windows and Mac OS X on June 4, 2013. The action takes place in the Marvel Universe, a world where you can play as one of the many superheroes like Iron Man, Spider-man, Wolverine and Hulk.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is a stand-alone expansion for Far Cry 3, set in a neon 1980s VHS straight-to-video vision of 2007.  

Bioshock Infinite is a first-person shooter, developed by Irrational Games and published by 2K Games for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. It is the latest entry in the BioShock series and although it doesn't take place in Rapture, it features similar gameplay, features and concepts.

Tomb Raider is an action-adventure video game and the fifth Tomb Raider to be developed by Crystal Dynamics. Published by Square Enix, it was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. A reboot of the series, it explores the intense and gritty origin of Lara Croft and her ascent from a frightened young woman to a hardened survivor.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is a platformer game, with stealth elements, developed by Sanzaru Games, and published worldwide by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita. It is the fourth game in the Sly Cooper series, and continues where Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves left off.

Assassin's Creed III is an open-world action adventure game developed by Ubisoft Montreal for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and Microsoft Windows. The game is published worldwide by Ubisoft and is the fifth main entry in the Assassin's Creed series, with it being the final one to feature Desmond Miles as the main protagonist.

Transformers: Prime is an action beat 'em up brawler video game developed by Now Production (Wii, Wii U, and 3DS) and Altron (DS) and published by Activision for released on the Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Wii, and Wii U.

Darksiders II is an action-adventure video game developed by Vigil Games and published for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Microsoft Windows and Wii U by THQ. The sequel to the 2010 game, Darksiders, it takes place parallel to the first game and follows a new character, Death.

Diablo III is a fantasy, role-playing game produced by Blizzard Entertainment, released for use on Microsoft Windows and OS X on May 15, 2012. It will be released for gameplay on Playstation 3 and XBOX 360 on September 3, 2013 and the in 2014 on the upcoming Playstation 4 console. Both regular and special editions were available for the original release and will likely be available for the home console release.   

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is a third person shooter developed by Slant Six Games and published worldwide by Capcom for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows.

Unit 13 is a third-person shooter game developed by Zipper Interactive for the PlayStation Vita. It marks the last game from the studio before its close.

Asura's Wrath is an action video game created by the collaborative efforts of  Cyberconnect2 and Capcom; released in February 2012 for both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is an action role-playing game for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. The game was co-developed by 38 Studios and Big Huge Games. It was planned to be a MMORPG in the beginning of the development, but eventually turned into a single-player RPG.

Star wars the old republic is an MMO developed by Bioware. SW:TOR is set further ahead in the starwars canon than Knights of the old republic. You can play as the Republic or as the Empire. With each character that you make you can be either light side or dark side regardless of whether you are Republic or Empire. SW:TOR will become a free to play MMO very soon, hopefully within 2012.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss is an action-adventure platformer game developed by Sony Bend (overseend by Naughty Dog) for the PS Vita. It was announced along side the PSVita on January 27, 2011 and released on December 17, 2011 for Japan, February 15, 2012 for North America and February 22, 2012 for Europe.

Saints Row: The Third is an action-adventure open world video game developed by Volition, Inc. and published by THQ.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open-world action RPG developed by Bethesda Game Studios for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series, it takes place in the Nordic homeland of Skyrim, where a civil war rages and dragons have returned to terrorise the land.

The game follows the movie in many respects but is not a mirror of the movie. The virtual characters in the movie, who are human in reality, do not exist in the game. The enemy or NDA are ever present and must be dealt with to obtain your goal. The goal of each mission is different and along the way you may collect Spirits that can be used to upgrade your Staff, Bow, Arrows and your abilities. Some of the Spirits are in locations that can only accessed using the Wasp. To do this you must use the Wii Plus controller, a standard controller will not control the Wasp. The other items that may be collected are Totems and Relics.

Dragon Age: Origins is an action role-playing game developed by BioWare Edmonton and published by Electronic Arts. It was first announced during E3 2004, and was released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in North America on November 3rd 2009. It is the first game in the Dragon Age franchise, and BioWare's first console game to be released after they were acquired by Electronic Arts.
