This mask was given to Corvo by Piero, when he first arrived at The Hound Pits Pub.. It is made of some sturdy material, which makes it sort of like armor, and it also protects Corvo from the Rat Plague. Upgrading it at Piero's Workshop gives the mask a zoomable binocular-like function.
