Dishonored - Low Chaos Walkthrough

NOTE - This is one of the hardest missions, when doing a playthrough that involves the Clean Hands/Ghost achievements/trophies. It is long and it is suggested that you periodically save, as you will most likely mess up from time to time.

When you first wake up, you'll be in The Void, so go up the stairs and you'll be paid a visit from The Outsider. After that, you'll actually wake up inside of some container, where you're held captive by Daud. When you gain control, you will want to pick up the bricks on the ground and throw them at the wooden cover above you. Once all of the wood is broken, Blink out of the container. Grab the blade and other items from the nearby table, as you don't have anything at all.

At the top of the stairs are two Assassins, and it's quite challenging to get past them without getting noticed. Take your time and when you get the chance, get onto the balcony and jump off of it, into the water. You're now free of any Assassins for a while, so start making your way to the objective marker. Climb the chain that you come to and jump onto the walkway, making sure to loot the dead bodies for items. You now have two options, as you can go and get your gear back, or you can continue with the main mission.

(OPTIONAL) RETRIEVING YOUR GEAR

Once you're on the walkway in between the two markers, Blink onto the roof above the optional marker, then drop inside. There's some items at the bottom, but they're not worth going after because of all the River Krusts, so just go through the door.

When you go through the door, you'll notice some Overseers laying dead on the ground, so loot anything of value and continue on. This next area has some Weepers on the ground, so stick to the high ground and go over the gate to your left.

Your goal here is to get inside of the refinery, but you need to lower the stairs leading up to it first. Of course, the power to the switch that lowers the stairs is not functional, so you will need to find a whale oil vial first. The only ones laying around on the ground are empty, so grab one of those and use the big containers to fill one.

Bring the filled vial up the nearby stairs and place it into the receptacle, then flip the switch to lower the stairs. Once the stairs are finished lowering, Blink over to them (there's a big swarm of Rats on the ground now) and start climbing them. Follow this path, climbing up the chain, and follow the pipe until you hear some talking above you on a platform.

Once the Assassins stop talking and teleport away, climb up using the chain and enter the building. This part is similar to what you did outside to lower the stairs, so head to the right and you'll see some empty whale oil containers behind a wall. There's some wood blocking the way, so use the nearby containers to get within range of knocking them loose with your sword. Grab an empty container, fill it up, then place it in the receptacle and hit the switch until the drawbridge lowers.

Climb the chain down, but be careful as there are Weepers roaming around. There's one behind you warming his hands over a fire, and another walking up and down the stairs ahead of you. Once you knock them both out, continue going downstairs until you hit the bottom, where you'll find another Weeper moving around (he should look familiar to you). When you get the chance, knock him out and grab your gear, then head back to the place before you started.

DAUD'S BASE

Whether or not you got your gear back, your next objective is to infiltrate Daud's base. Getting there isn't easy, though, as there are plenty of Assassins in your way. For now, get onto the roof instead of going inside and down. From here, you can see a balcony overlooking the area on your left side, so Blink up there. There is an Assassin on the roof above the door you need to use, who teleports down to the roof below, so when you get a chance, knock him out (he might have a key to the door).

Hide that Assassin inside of the room you were (with the balcony), and go back towards the door. Note that another Assassin might go on the same roof, so if he does, knock him out and hide him in the same spot as the last. Once the coast is clear, Blink to the door and go inside.

Once you're inside, there won't be any enemies right away, and you'll be on some raised ground. Go forward a little bit and then jump off and into the water. Climb up the steps that's closest to you, making sure to be careful of the guy on the ledge above you, although he shouldn't see you.

NOTE - The next few parts are tricky, so make sure you SAVE here. If you get spotted at all, then reload that save.

Keep following the path from before, but stop before you get to the open area, as there are two Wolfhounds patrolling it. What you want to do is get up high and go in the opening where you see a book shining. Jump on the table nearby, which should trigger an Assassin to come over and have a conversation with another higher up.

While they're having a conversation, use this chance to go back out the window you came through and jump on the roof sticking out to the right. Follow this quickly and Blink to the marked window. Head to the left and hide behind the bookshelf, as the two Assassins there won't spot you for some odd reason. You can sneak towards the door and Blink onto the lights, using them to get to the next room.

Do not go too far to the left, as there is one Assassin who is looking into the room, but he starts walking away pretty quickly. Once he does, though, go to the right, over the lights and out the window. As soon as you go out the window, look up and right to another another window you can Blink to.

DAUD THE ASSASSIN

You are now in the lair of Daud, who was the one who killed the Empress in the very beginning of the game. Sometimes, an Assassin will appear right in front of you and open the doors, so if he shows up, quickly move up to him and choke him out. There's another Assassin in the room to the left, so try and take him down as well.

Once the coast is clear, it is better to go in the left door, as there is more cover from Daud and the other Assassin in the room. Daud has a set pattern of walking around a little bit in a small area, then going to the desk and reading something. There is a bookshelf on the far left, which if you hug the wall right next to it, the one Assassin will not see you.

What you need to do is steal Daud's Key, which is hanging on his desk, but you will want to take out the Assassin in the room. The timing of this involves Daud reading and the Assassin walking away, but he only has his back turned for a very short time, so you need to be quick in taking him down. Once he is disposed of, you can just wait until Daud is occupied again to sneak up and steal his key.

NOTE - There is a lethal and nonlethal optional objective here. You can either kill Daud, or steal his pouch and leave him unharmed. As long as you take care of the Assassin in the same room, it is easy to steal the pouch.

ESCAPING

It's now time to escape, so go through the window in Daud's room, and go down and behind the cover there. There are some Assassins here, with one on the top platform, another appearing on the floor below the above, and there's a third on the level below him.

When the coast is clear, you can Blink to the level below behind some cover. When you get here, turn around and you'll see an open window, so Blink into this room, which has a chain. This chain leads all the way down to a room, which will lead to a door going to the next section.

In this new area, go right and as soon as you pass the garbage overhead, look up and to the left and you should see an opening in the wall. Go up here, on to the balcony, through the window to your left and then to the window behind you (there's a woman here).

Go out the window in the room with the woman, through another window slightly above it, up the stairs and and through the window opposite and slightly to the right of where you entered. Get up on the roof and then the next roof, then Blink onto the metal pillar. Your goal is to get on the train after it has dumped the bodies, and starts to become flat again.

This train is on an electrified track, so you can't use the track to get to your destination. Also, this is a lot easier than going the ground route, as there are three Tallboys patrolling the area. When you ride the train, be very careful at noticing the the platform near the end, as you need to Blink to it, as there's a Wall of Light blocking the exit.

When you get on the platform, you must still be careful not to touch the tracks, as they are still electrified. There's a path on the left side of the tracks, which stop, and you will need to Blink to the right, which leads to a small drop with the door to the next area.

This is the last area of this mission, so start by going to the right and up the stairs. After the second set of steps, there will be a doorway to your left, which you should take. Do that and follow the path until you reach another indoor area with metal stairs and a valve on the floor, which when turned will open a hatch that leads into the sewers.

The only thing down in the sewers that can hurt you are River Krusts, so you don't need to worry about stealth here. There are some people down here, but they won't hurt you, as they aren't actually considered Weepers. At the seemingly first dead end, the path to continue forward is on the left. Other than that, the path to the exit is pretty straightforward, so once you reach it, use it to finish the mission and automatically start the next.
