The Crossbow is a small, one-handed weapon that uses different kinds of ammunition, such as sleeping darts (perfect for non-lethal means) and exploding bolts. Corvo's Spyglass is used as a scope for it.
The Crossbow is a useful weapon to take out enemies from a distance. As well as standard bolts, there are other functions you can perform such as sleeping bolts which will subdue the enemy, not killing them.
