The RC missions are so-called because each one involves a remote-control (RC) model vehicle that you will pilot, in the same way you would normally control a vehicle.
There are three RC missions in total, and all are activated by entering a Top Fun Van. The rewards for completion of each is $100.
Despite how menial the reward is for each of them, they can be attempted over and over for profit. Plus, it is required for 100% completion, so think of them as stepping stones to achieving Vice City perfection.
The details of each are listed below:
RC Bandit Race
The Top Fun Van is located beside the sand track in northern Vice Beach. You are racing an RC Bandit buggy.
You have to complete three laps around this track, beating three other opponents to the finish line. They will be racing the same buggies around the track, and they are not solid, so ramming them off the course is not an option.
You cannot out-race these guys, as they will accelerate at the same relative pace. However, they will not take corners perfectly, so you can easily out-corner them in the middle of the first lap. Be careful not to literally go off-track, slow down for corners, and avoid the bumps and obstacles put there to catch you out. If you struggle, attempt it a few more times to get a feel for the course. Hopefully, that should help you complete this.
RC Baron Race
The Top Fun Van is located on the top level of the multi-storey car park, at the northwest point of the North Point Mall in Vice Point.
You have to complete a course around the East Island of Vice City in an RC Baron plane. You will need to get used to the Baron's controls first before trying to perfect your run. The checkpoints hover above Vice Point, Washington Beach and Ocean Beach. The course will be placed on the west side of the island, heading due south, before heading east and then north to the finish. If you can get used to the Baron and the transition between checkpoints, this is simple.
RC Raider Pickup
Head to the southern entrance to the Escobar Intl. Airport tarmac to find the Top Fun Van beside it. This is, in terms of the storyline, the final RC mission you can complete.
You have to collect twenty checkpoints in as fast a time as you can. You have to pick them up in order around and above the tarmac, and you can take as long as you want unless you want to retry and post a better time on it. Some checkpoints are in tight spots, so you will need to take care, but take your time on a relatively very easy mission.
And that is every RC mission. They're not easy, but experience of the courses is pivotal between success and failure.
