This is the third mission in Cortez's mission line. However, from here on in, his missions are halted until you complete other missions.
Cortez does not hesitate in telling Tommy what he needs done next - Ricardo Diaz, the big, bad coke baron, is conducting a small-scale drug deal. Cortez has promised him protection, and has left Tommy adequate protection in the Ocean Beach multi-storey car park. He needs to make sure that nothing goes wrong.
Head to pick up the hardware from the car park - a Kruger. The man from "Back Alley Brawl" makes another appearance, and Tommy wants to make use of him. They trade names - he is called Lance. Take his vehicle and head to Ocean Drive, where the meet is meant to be taking place. Lance and Tommy introduce themselves to Diaz, and take up their vantage points.
Head up the steps to take your vantage point. The Cubans arrive to conduct the deal with Diaz. You learn how to crouch in order to improve your accuracy, and it is recommended you adopt the position. Eventually, the Cuban's rivals, the Haitians, turn up to take down the deal. Kill the Haitians, preventing any harm to Diaz or Lance, and after a number of vehicles and van-loads of them, the main part is over.
Two Haitians turn up on dirt bikes, taking Diaz's money. He manages to kill one, but the other breaks free. Quickly collect an SMG, and get on the Sanchez dirt bike to give chase. Shoot him off the back, being careful you don't destroy the Sanchez (it will fail the mission), and pick up the briefcase when he is dead. Head back to Diaz to drop the money off, and he congratulates Tommy before driving off. Lance is nowhere to be seen.
