This is the second mission in Rosenberg's line, accessed after the mission "The Party".
Tommy reports back to Rosenberg, saying that he didn't find out anything from a bunch of big-shot criminals. He asks for a lead for someone at street level. Rosenberg tells Tommy of a British music producer named Kent Paul, who knows every bit of information whispered through the streets of the city.
Head to The Malibu Club, for a meeting with the smarmy Limey. After some encouragement, he tells Tommy that a chef working on Ocean Drive has "looked pleased with himself lately", and thinks that the fact that he moves coke through his kitchen may relate him to what happened.
Head to the back alleys of Ocean Drive to confront the chef. Kill him and take his cellular phone. When you do, an African-American man appears, who happens to be involved with the deal - in fact, he was handling the coke that was meant to be traded. He was following the chef as one of his leads, and now that he is dead, he's left with nothing. He also offers his services, before the chefs' work friends turn up. He tosses a Pistol to Tommy.
Simply flee and get into the Infernus, waiting for the man to catch up. Head to Ammu-Nation in Ocean Beach, before heading back to the Ocean View Hotel. You needn't buy anything from the gun store yet.
Mission Passed: $200
The cell phone is kept for Tommy to receive phone calls. Its main purpose is to open up new missions, but some calls either hint at a future objective or mission not yet available at that point, or to fill in some of the blanks.
