Creatures are formed wherever life force is found. This spell allows a wizard to form a creature from the life force within his own heart--a creature which then becomes his familiar. Be at peace with yourself prior to casting this spell as the result is invariably self-revelatory. A familiar thus formed is a manifestation of your heart and soul.
Form Familiar is one of the spells in the game that is only used once. At the beginning of the game, when Oliver first travels to Deep Dark Wood, he uses this spell to get his first Familiar in the game, which ends up being a Mite. This spell is not used at all for the rest of the game.
