Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch - Errands 61-70

061 - YULE HAVE TO SEARCH

  • WHEN:
  • REWARD: Medal of Valor, 2000 Guilders
  • STAMPS: 5

A tomte boy has gone missing, as it seems he went to the Glittering Grotto to test his courage. Go to the dungeon and cross the bridge that leads west, where you'll find a monster in the north, who has cornered the tomte. You'll be fighting a Water Ogrrr and three Turban Legends, all of whom have increased stats over their normal versions. They can hit hard, so make sure you have a tank. They are all weak to fire, so that will certainly help quicken the battle. After the battle, you'll automatically return to Yule, so talk to the mother to get your reward.

062 - OUT OF THIS WORLD

  • WHEN: After restoring Mornstar
  • REWARD: 2 Carnation Cakes, 4 Wildflower Sundaes, 2500 Guilders
  • STAMPS: 6

A young girl in Perdida wants you to bring back a pink flower from her soul mate in Oliver's world. Cast Gateway to get there and you'll find the girl in the middle of the town (blue dot). Speak to her to find out that the flowers have dried up, so inspect them to get a prompt to cast a spell (Rejuvenate). Talk to the girl again after restoring the flowers to get one, then go back to Drippy's world. Bring it to the girl to get your reward

063 - BEATING A BAD BACK

  • WHEN: After restoring Mornstar
  • REWARD: Tonic, 2500 Guilders
  • STAMPS: 7

An old man in Perdida is suffering from terrible backaches, and uses a special cold compress that he bought while in Yule. He wants you to go there and get one for him. Travel there and speak to the tomte on the east side of the village, who mentions that it's taking some time to prepare one. While you're waiting, he asks you to defeat five Manglerfish with a Blazing Blade, which the merchant nearby sells for 8,000 Guilders.

The Manglerfish can be found in the area surrounding Yule, so keep searching for them, as they can usually be found with Messy Plessies, so go for them if you see them on the map. The killing blow must be done with the Blazing Blade, so it helps to have more than one Familiar equipped with it. When all 5 are vanquished, go back to the tomte to get the cold compress, then return it to the old man to finish.

064 - THE HUNGRY LLAPACA

  • WHEN: After restoring Mornstar
  • REWARD: Leech Gem, 2500 Guilders, Formulae
  • STAMPS: 6

The llapaca is getting tired of eating just hay and wants you to bring him some foods from other places. All of the items can be bought from their respective cities. The items are needed in the following order: babanas (Al Mamoon; 100G), glowshrimp (Castaway Cove; 200G), black truffle (Hamelin; 200G), and snow radish (Yule; 200G). The snow radish will get you your reward.

065 - THE CAT'S WHISKERS

  • WHEN: After Sanctifying Ding Dong Dell
  • REWARD: Radiant Blade, 3000 Guilders
  • STAMPS: 8

The guard at the gate seems to have had his Cat's Whiskers stolen by some monster. He points out that the tracks of the beast seem to lead out of town, so follow them. What you need to do is go to the westernmost point of the Rolling Hills, where you'll find a lone Puss in Boats waiting for you. It isn't too hard, but it does have a lot of HP.

After the battle, you'll find out that the enemy was really innocent and you'll need to find the real culprit. Go east, making sure not to cross the bridge, and then south until you see another enemy waiting. The Igneous Supremus has a lot of HP, but generally only does melee attacks, but does have a fire trick up its sleeve. Once you get the Cat's Whiskers, bring it back to the guard in Ding Dong Dell.

066 - THE ARTIST'S MUSE

  • WHEN: After Sanctifying Al Mamoon; Complete Errand 022
  • REWARD: Shield of the Pure, 3000 Guilders
  • STAMPS: 6

The artist in the inn is looking for someone for inspiration for his next work, and he's looking for a specific type. To find this person, you need to head to Turtle Crag, which is the U-shaped island south of the Winter Isles. There's a forest glade here on this island, with the model you need the girl walking around. Talk to her and you'll appear back in Al Mamoon, so talk to the artist to finish.

067 - CURRY IN A HURRY

  • WHEN: After Sanctifying Hamelin; Complete Errand 048
  • REWARD: 20 Tikka Mahalas, 3000 Guilders
  • STAMPS: 8

The curry guy from Al Mamoon is getting very busy and needs some help in delivering some of his Tikka Mahala curries to people over the world. The first delivery is to the Sheikh of Spice in Al Mamoon, who is by the Swift Solutions. Go back to Raj and get the next order, which you must do after every order. Once you finish all of them, go back to Raj to finish.

  • Second delivery is the governor of Castaway Cove; he's on the docks where you first got your ship.
  • Third delivery is the guy running the Black Market shop in Hamelin.
  • Fourth delivery is at the casino at Tombstone Trail. You need to give it to the bartender.
  • Last delivery is in the forest glade to the west of Ding Dong Dell; this is the westernmost section of Rolling Hills

068 - WAKEY, WAKEY

  • WHEN: After Sanctifying Hamelin
  • REWARD: Dragon Lance, 3000 Guilders
  • STAMPS: 7

A man in Hamelin is having trouble staying awake and waking up. He first requests a Sleep-Be-Gone from you, which can be bought from the Hootique for 40G. His second request is a Cappuccino, which can be bought for 2,000Gfrom either Yule or Perdida. That doesn't seem to work either, so he asks for a Familar that knows Rise and Shine. One of the easiest ones to find is Turbandit around Al Mamoon, who learns the trick at level 7; Bubbud also learns it at level 5. Bring it back when it has this trick (the familiar has to be on you and not in the retreat) to finish the Errand.

069 - THE RUNAWAY FAIRIES

  • WHEN: Complete the game, Complete Errand 053
  • REWARD: 2 Kaleidostones, 5000 Guilders, Formulae
  • STAMPS: 10

The fairies haven't returned yet, so you need to go and look for them. There are five in total and each time you find one, you'll automatically return to the Golden Grove, where the fairy will say where the next is. As long as you're in the right area, they should be easy to spot on your map due to the blinking blue dot.

  • Travel to Skull Mountain and you should find the first one south of it by a red flag.
  • The second one is inside the Vault of Tears, where you can find him inside of a cell on the west side of the dungeon.
  • For this one, cast Gateway to go back to Oliver's world and you'll find the fairy near Philip straight south where you appear (building with green roof on your map).
  • This fairy is located inside of a cave near Hamelin, so Travel there and head to the Abandoned Mine that is east of Hamelin (you need to use Tengri). The fairy is in the back next to the skeleton.
  • The last fairy is located in a Forest Glade that is located on Jack Frost's Playground, which is the big island to the southeast of Yule.

070 - THE GREATEST TREASURE

  • WHEN: Complete the game
  • REWARD: 2 Evil Eyes, 5000 Guilders, Formulae
  • STAMPS: 10

A young boy has found a treasure map, but it's kind of hard to read, so he says to ask the local people in Castaway Cove about the pirates. Speaking to them will give you the hints as to the location of their treasure, but you are really looking for certain stones that have Nazcaan script on them. There are seven in total:

  • Southwest of Yule is a pair of islands, with Tiny Tim being the northern of the two. The code here is "K1."
  • Bungler's Bay is south of Old Smoky. The stone is on the southeastern tip of the island and the code is "37."
  • This stone is located in the section of land south of Skull Mountain in The Barrens. It's on the east side of this area and the code is "A5."
  • On the eastern shore of Swan Island, which is north of Ding Dong Dell, is the stone, with the code being "L4."
  • The Shipwreck Shore has the stone on its northern tip, with the code being "B3."
  • No Longer Mine is located southeast of where you land your ship to get to Hamelin. The stone is located on the west coast, and the code is "U2."
  • Billy Goat's Bluff is where you find Perdida, but the stone is in the northern section, which is the other part (the Dualynx Bounty Hunt is right by the stone). The code is "I6."

Once you have read all seven stones, head back to Castaway Cove and speak with the boy again. You need to decipher all of the writing and put it in the right order, which is easy to do by placing the letters according to the number in the second column. If you did it right, it should read "Kublai3," which you should enter when speaking with the boy.

Travel to the Iron Wyvern and speak with Kublai, who mentions it was one of his ancestors and that he held a treasure on him to his dying days. He mentions it's probably on an island that no ship can access. This island is The Broken Crown, which is in the northeast corner of the map, so go there and you'll find another monument that has writing you can't read. Cast Rejuvenate on it, then go back to Castaway Cove to finish the quest.
