131 - THE CONDUCTOR
- WHEN: Complete the game, Start Errand 085
- REWARD: Philmobile Key
- STAMPS: N/A
When you start Errand 085, you will come to a forest glade south of Ding Dong Dell, where you will find a large door and a NPC with what looks like a bunny mask. Speak to that NPC to start this Errand. He mentions that due to the imbalance in the world, rifts have appeared all over and he wants you to go and close them. Go to any Swift Solutions and you'll see new Bounties open (Bounties 116 through 130, all of which are rematches with harder versions of previously defeated bosses).
Once you finish them all, return to the Conductor and you'll now be able to go through the door. You'll be fighting the Guardian of Worlds, the game's ultimate boss. It only has two moves besides its melee, which are Overload and Great Divider. It should go without saying that level 80+ is ideal for fighting this boss. Also, all those items you might have been saving up should now be used, as there isn't much use for them after you fight the boss.
As previously mentioned, the boss only has two special attacks, both of which can do a lot of damage. Overload is an area of effect attack that hits around the Guardian; it is storm-based and could inflict Confusion. As long as you keep away from the boss, this move won't be a problem. Its other move, Great Divider is a single-target laser that could potentially KO whoever it hits, so make sure you defend. In between these moves, heal/revive those wounded, then go on the offensive (the Guardian has no strengths or weaknesses).
With the boss defeated, go and talk to the Conductor and follow him back to Motorville. Keep following him until he stops and hands over the keys to the Philmobile, the car you drove at the beginning of the game.
Note that you can fight the Guardian of Worlds again, although it will have double the HP than it did the first time. He can randomly drop one of six ingredients used in Alchemy (Scroll of Truth, Kaleidostone, Angel's Wings, Troll's Tears, Evil Eye, or Glowstone) upon defeat, and you can steal a Wizard King's Secret from it. Additionally, it gives 25,000 XP each time you defeat it, which is the same as a Tokotocold, without the added headache of hunting one down.
132 - TOTALLY TIDY TOOLS
- WHEN: Complete the game
- REWARD: Blossom of the Bard, Pretty Parasol, 10000 Guilders
- STAMPS: N/A
Smiley and Surly need some ideas for new weapons to attract customers to their shop. Listen to some of their ideas, most of which revolve around The Fairyground, so head there. The one fairy inside the town has an idea for a Soggy Slapstick. Now, go ahead and talk to the Fairy Godmother next for the Lullaby Lance idea.
Take the path to the right in the area before the Fairy Godmother to end up back inside her tummy. In the very first room on the left is the idea for Flawed Claws by the slide. Bring the ideas back to Smiley and Surly and they mention that something is missing, a souvenir of Alicia's.
Cast Gateway to go to Oliver's world and then to your house (the one in the middle row). Find the kitchen and you'll get the idea for Mom's Favorite Pan. Go back to Smiley and Surly and the errand will be complete. Check out their newly acquired weapons if you want.
134 - ORDER OF ILLUSION
- WHEN: Complete the game
- REWARD: Nazcaan Armor/Helm/Longsword, 10000 Guilders
- STAMPS: N/A
Inside of Ivory Tower, you will find three men standing near the first Waystone. The middle one has a task for you, which is to hunt down four Magimech that have become active again. They are all located in dungeons, close to Waystones.
- Golden Grove - Come from the north and you should see the blue dot on your map at the end of one of the northern paths
- Old Smoky - Located near the beginning, on the first dead-end path
- Tombstone Trail - Right by the Waystone in the middle of the dungeon, by the shack
- Glittering Grotto - Located in the area right before the path that leads to the final Waystone of the dungeon
Once those four have been taken care of, head back to Caph in Ivory Tower, who has you going after Magimech Masters now. All three can be found around Nazcaa and shouldn't be too hard to find. They might be a little tougher than the previous Magimechs, as well as have some more HP, but go all out and fight them, as it's all one-on-one.
With those three out of the way, go back to the Ivory Tower and use the Waystone to heal and save. You should do this, as when you talk to Caph again, you'll be thrown into a battle with a Manic Magimech and two Magimech Masters. Things can get a little hectic, so try concentrate on one at a time or use all-targeting tricks/spells, like Astra or Earsplitter. If you see a Twinkle Twinkle being used, try to defend against it. When you defeat all three, the errand is over.
