There are plenty of things to do before heading to Al Mamoon and getting the Holy Wood from Cowlipha. Since the Mornstar has been repaired, you can open all kinds of purple chests now, which house some nice equipment.
- Ding Dong Dell - There's a set of stairs east of the Swift Solutions that leads to a separated area on the map. The Purple Chest is here, and contains Shining Scales.
- Ding Dong Well - This is in the area past the second puzzle, where you're walking through water. The chest is located in the northwest section, at the end of the east path when it splits. It contains Blackwyrm Claws.
- Golden Grove - The chest is next to the Waystone in the southern end of the area. Open it to get a Hocus Pocus Gem.
- Old Smoky - From the beginning, make the first turn that goes east, then go to the end of the path that goes south to find the chest. Open it to get a Spire of Fire Gem.
- Alchemist's Cave - This cave is north of Castaway Cove, on top of a bluff. Inside is the purple chest, with a Starspun Tunic in it.
- Hamelin - This chest is located inside of the Black Market building where you got the pig costume earlier. Inside is a Tricksy Nixy Gem.
- The Tombstone Trail - About halfway up the path is a shack, but the chest is in the little area just southwest on the map (just past the three-split path). It contains a Dark Cloud Gem.
- Forest Glade - First find No Longer Mine island, which is southeast of the spot where you land your ship to get to Hamelin. There is a small island just south that you can land on with Tengri, which houses the glade. The chest is next to the guy here, which houses a Medal of Valor.
- The Vault of Tears - Go to the northeast room and you'll find the chest in the northeast corner. It contains a Steam Hammer.
- Forest Glade - This one is in the glade near the Vault of Tears. This one contains a Night Blade.
- The Glittering Grotto - This is near the end of the dungeon, so get to the final Waystone. West of it is false wall you can walk through that leads to the big area. In the northwest corner of this area is the chest, which contains a Helm of Hamelin.
- Forest Glade - South of Skull Mountain is Russett Isle. Land there and one of the patches of trees holds this Forest Glade, with the chest inside. It contains a Beast-Hide Cloak.
- Forest Glade - From Old Smoky, fly south of it to find Bungler's Bay. There is a lone island here that you can land on, which has this Forest Glade. The chest here contains a Brinkman's Badge.
- Forest Glade - This glade is on Turtle Crag, which is south of the winter isles. You may need to approach from the north, since the fog of the island to the south might prevent Tengri from landing. The chest is in the glade and contains an Enigma Armor.
- Hermitage - This island is in the southwest corner and can only be approached by your boat. Inside the cave is the chest, which contains Sorceress's Robes.
ERRANDS
There are plenty of new Errands to do now, along with pieces of heart to get when you need more. Perdida has Confidence and Love, while Ding Dong Dell, Castaway Cove, Hamelin and Yule all have some Love. There are also a few new Bounties to do.
