You have all three magical stones, but you can't restore Mornstar back to its former self yet. You need to go back to Hamelin and to the palace again to speak with Marcassin. He mentions to seek out Khulan, who was one of the four Great Sages, and the one with the most formidable magic. However, her kingdom was destroyed by Shadar and her current whereabouts are unknown.
When you exit the palace, you see a soldier from Xanadu standing nearby. Use the Spirit Medium spell to talk to her, finding out that Khulan is still alive. She gives you the Wings of Xanadu item before leaving you to try and find Khulan. Exit Hamelin, call Tengri and fly slightly northwest of the city to find a town in the mountains, which is Perdida.
NOTE
The next evolution in the Toko class, the Tokotoko, is located on the trail leading up to Perdida. It's best to wait until you get the Veil spell from Horace in the town first, as this makes it easier to locate any Tokotokos without having to worry about other enemies.
PERDIDA
Perdida is located at the top of a long trail in the mountains. When you land and get close to the town, a scene will play out. Once it's over, check out the town; there's a peddler with some new wares to the left of where you can start moving. If you've solved all of Horace's riddles so far, he can be found in the Swift Solutions in the town; the answer is JABAL AL-DUKHAN and your reward is the Veil spell.
There's a red chest with some Snowdrop Bonbons outside of the building with the star icon, as well as a red chest with a Fruit Flan and a blue chest with a Pixie Dew outside of the building in the north. There's also a red chest with a Patty Cake inside the inn.
When you're ready, go into the house marked with a star to view a scene. After it's over, go to the building in the north to view another scene. You'll be thrown into a boss battle!
BOSS: KHULAN'S NIGHTMARE
It's time for yet another Nightmare. This boss is quite annoying and a little challenging, as its two main moves hit everyone for pretty good damage and can inflict ailments. Cruel Rain can poison you, while Pitch Black can curse you. Other than those two moves, which it will use a lot, the boss just melees. This will be a long and tough battle. It might be best to use Oliver at this point, as he has access to Arrow of Light and Healing Touch, which will help a lot. Whenever you see the boss teleport, go All-Out Defense and defend with Oliver. If you see a Golden Glim, make sure you grab it with Oliver, as Burning Heart will usually take off around 350 HP.
After the battle, use Take Heart to get some love from Kublai, then give it to Queen Khulan. Once the lengthy scene is over, head outside and speak to Khulan to start the ritual to restore Mornstar's power. With its power now restored, you gain the Healing Hand, Fortune's Fool, and Unleash spells. You are also now able to open purple chests. There are also new Errands and Bounties for you to do. Before you leave, use Spring Lock to open the purple chest in the house on the west side of Perdida for a Nostrum.
