Location: Undead Burg Lower Section - From the Hellkite Dragon bridge in Undead Parish, just after the place where you fought the Taurus Demon and near where you first meet the Knight Solaire, open the door and head down the ladder to the Lower Section of the Undead Burg. The Capra Demon is located near the end of the level, above the stairs that lead to the shortcut to Firelink Shrine and The Depths.
Drops: 6,000 Souls, Humanity, Homeward Bone, Key to Depths, Demon Great Machete (not 100%, but can be obtained by the respawning versions in Demon Ruins)
Attacks
Single Swing
A single strike with either the left or right sword that can be avoided by rolling in the opposite direction or blocking.
Double Swing
Starting off like a Single Swing, this is followed by a second swing. While both attacks can be blocked, the high stamina loss will make you vulnerable to the following attacks.
Left Sword Smash
A smash with the left sword that is blockable, it will eat all your stamina and leave you vulnerable to the attack dogs, if they are not dead. It is best to roll into this attack to avoid it and save your stamina.
Power Slash
When the demon raises both swords above its head he will be readying this attack. While unblockable, its long and obvious animation gives you plenty of time to get out of the way by backstepping or rolling.
Leaping Smash
A leaping attack with both swords to close the gap between himself and you, this attack is easily avoided by moving anywhere than where you are standing at the start at his attack. The long recovery time will also leave the demon vulnerable.
Strategy
HP: 1,176
The Capra Demon on its own is not really a threat, but the Undead Attack Dogs make this fight annoyingly difficult, due to getting cornered by the dogs and leaving yourself open to the demons attacks. Luckily, the staircase in the back of the room is a perfect place to take out the dogs while the poor demon attacks from below. Additionally, this archway can be used to plunging attack the demon if it comes close enough. Once the attack dogs are dead, this fight should be much more manageable.
