The follower of the Blade of the Darkmoon are disciples of the Dark Sun Gwyndolin and serve Gwyndolin by hunting the guilty.
Joining
After reaching the moving spiral staircase in the heart of Anor Londo, head to the bottom floor to find a bonfire. Inside, equip the Darkmoon Seance Ring, found in The Catacombs, to open an illusionary wall and kneel on the carpet in front of the fog wall. DO NOT ENTER THE FOG, this will count as a betrayal. Players receive the Blue Eye Orb and Darkmoon Covenant Ring for joining.
Covenant Effects
Players who join the Blade of the Darkmoon can invade other players as a Spirit of Vengeance, blue phantom, in two ways:
- Blue Eye Orb - invade online players who have sinned, viewable through the Book of the Guilty obtained from Oswald of Carim
- Darkmoon Blade Covenant Ring - hunt players who have killed Gwynevere, Princess of Sunlight
Killing the guilty results in gaining a Souvenir of Reprisal, which can be turned in to rank up the covenant.

Betrayal Penalties
Betraying or leaving this covenant results in the inability to use Darkmoon Blade and halves the amount of previously offered Souvenir of Reprisals.
