Location: Undead Burg - At the top of the tower on the battlements between the Undead Burg and the Undead Parish. Although he does not appear as soon as you enter the fog gate, heading across the battlement to the other tower will trigger his appearance.
Drops: 3,000 Souls, Humanity, Homeward Bone, Demon's Greataxe (not 100%, but can be obtained by the respawning versions in Demon Ruins)
Attacks
Jumping Pound
When there is a large distance between you and the demon he will crouch down and perform a jumping attack with long range vertical range. You can either continue to back up or run/roll into him and close the distance to avoid the attack.
Standing Pound
When in extremely close range, the demon will raise its hammer into the air to attack. Sidestepping or rolling around him to avoid the attack, you can safely attack his back while he recovers.
Giant Swing
The demon will draw its weapon briefly and then swipe across the screen horizontally. This can easily be avoided by backstepping or rolling toward him.
Quick Ground Stab
The quickest attack in his arsenal, it will only be activated when you are at close range. It looks similar to Standing Pound, but with a much quicker recovery.
Strategy

The easiest way to defeat this is by using the tower you entered from to perform plunging attacks. Upon entering the fog, turn around and take the ladder up to two archers, which you should kill. Trigger the Taurus Demon's appearance and immediately run up the tower. Wait for him to walk directly under you and perform a plunging attack. This can be rinsed and repeated until it is dead, but be careful as you can still be attacked while climbing the ladder.
