| Saboteur | You must complete the mission "Rannoch: Geth Fighter Base" to get this achievement and you must do it before completing "Priority: Rannoch" or else you won't be able to do the mission. |
| Arbiter | You'll reach a point during the story after a crazy elevator ride where you'll be presented with Paragon and Renegade Interrupts. You must use one of them to get this achievement. |
| Fact Finder | To get this achievement, you must complete the mission "Kallini: Ardat-Yakshi Monastery". This is a side-mission and missable |
| Liberator | To get this achievement, you must complete the mission "Grissom Academy: Emergency Evacuation." This is a side-mission and is time sensative. If you let it linger too long, you will automatically fail. |
| Problem Solver | To get this achievement, you must complete the mission "Arrae: Ex-Cerberus Scientists." This is a side-mission and is missable. |
| Paramour | Simply initiate any love scene during the game by having as many good conversations with the person as you can. While you can't romance every character, you can romance most, including gay or lesbian partner if you so choose. |
| Long Service Medal | You get this achievement by either having finished Mass Effect 2, importing your character save to Mass Effect 3 and finishing the game OR by finishing the game twice. |
| Insanity | To get this achievement, you must first finish the game on Insanity which requires you to either beat the game first or import a Mass Effect 2 character. After that, start a new game and change the difficulty to Insane before leaving Earth. You must then leave it on insane for the entire game. |
| Shopaholic | Simply visit any shop in the game to get this achievement. It is missable. |
| A Personal Touch | Pick up or buy any weapon modification in the game, visit a workbench (bottom level of the Normandy), and put the modification on the weapon. This is technically missable though if you use any part of the main guide, you should have no trouble finding mods. |
| Gunsmith | You must upgrade any weapon to level 10 by purchasing upgrades at one of the terminals on the bottom level of the Normandy. You can only upgrade your weapons to level 5 until you complete the game once even if you imported an ME2 character. Even after you complete the game once, not all weapons can be upgraded to level 10 though most can. |
| Master and Commader | This achievement is attained by having an Effective Military Strength of 4000+ before setting off for the Illusive Man's base. Your Effective Military Strength is the number of points you've accrued in Single Player multiplied by your Readiness percentage and is the last bar on your War Assets display. To increase your Readiness, you must play multiplayer. Setting the location to random on a multiplayer match will give the largest Readiness increase. Since there's an achievement for getting 100% Readiness, I would do this first. |
| Defender | To get the highest Readiness possible, you'll have to play Multiplayer. You need to reach 100% in each of the five theaters of War. Choosing "random" for the map will increase them all a little at a time but the total is more than if you did each one individually. Do this before Master and Commander. |
| Lost and Found | You must find ten War Assets by surveying planets and launching probes. Check the Galactic Exploration page for a listing of locations. |
| Untouchable | Go into any star system that has a Reaper hovering over it and then use your scanner and ping a few times. After a couple of tried, a group of Reapers will appear. To escape, simply head off any edge of the star system or use a Mass Relay. They start off quite slow so as long as you don't mess around or head straight for them, it's quite easy. |
| Focused | You'll have to max out one of your powers to unlock this achievement. Once you get to a high enough level, you can simply unassign your powers, hit level 6 on one, reload a previous checkpoint and you've got it. If you imported an ME2 character, it's likely possible to do this before you leave Earth. |
| Combined Arms | Basically, use any combination of powers that results in a magnified effect by using them together (singularity + warp OR (Cryo rounds + Concussion rounds). Do so 50 times to unlock. This is across Single Player and multiplayer. It should unlock with no effort if you play online. |
| Recruit | See "Veteran" |
| Soldier | See "Veteran" |
| Veteran | Each enemy you kill in any playthrough or online counts towards this tally. If this is all you have left the during the first mission on Earth you will find the medic with the wounded soldier. The Cannibals that spawn afterwards will spawn infinitely if you don't take cover like you are prompted to do. |
| Bruiser
| Any melee kill on any playthrough or during a multiplayer match will count. You must get a kill for it to count. The best way to do this is to wait behind cover at any point, wait for any enemy to approach and then melee them to activate a one hit kill. This is easily done online. |
| Overload Specialist | Simply kill 100 enemies with Overload to get this. The fastest way to get this is by starting an Engineer character in Multiplayer and just pouring your points into Overload. Play against Geth and you'll have it in no time. |
| Pyromaniac | This can easily be gotten while going for Overload Specialist since the Engineer has both Overload and a fire power. It's best used on armor. |
| Sky High | This is similar to Overload Specialist. Just start up a Biotic in multiplayer and pour your points into lift to get this quickly |
| Eye of the Hurricane | There's no particularly easy way of doing this though it might be easiest as a Biotic or Engineer since they have a high armor damage homing power. At some point when fighting a Brute, whittle its health down to one bar left and when it charges at you, hit it with Warp to kill it. This may be easier if your party members are down. |
| Mail Slot | All this requires is for you to shoot through the small slot on a Guardians shield and kill them. This can be done with any weapon, though I would recommend either a sniper rifle (for precision) or an SMG (you'll get a few shots per burst through). Just do it 10 times to get this. Find any checkpoint with Guardians and just keep reloading. |
| Hijacker | It's not a well publicized fact, but you can hijack an occupied Atlas Mech. Take out its shields, then try to hit the glass of the cockpit and only the glass because it takes a few hits and you don't want to accidentally destroy the Mech. Eventually it will crack, then break. Once it's broken, shoot the driver out and then take his place for this achievement. |
| Giant Killer | To get this achievement, you need to kill a Harvester. The easiest mission to get this on is "Tuchanka: Turian Platoon". You'll come across several. Just make sure that you switch everybody to heavy weapons and focus their attacks (up on the d-pad) on the harvester. Abuse your powers and it will come down very quickly. If you don't, it'll fly off and you'll have to try again. |
| Enlisted | To get this achievement, you have to start a character in multiplayer or start a new game in Single Player and customize your Shepard. Either will do and neither is hard. |
| Tourist | See "Tour of Duty" |
| Explorer | See "Tour of Duty" |
| Tour of Duty | You can get these by completing the N7 side-mission (there are six) or playing matches online. If you are going for achievements in either, you'll likely get this on the way. |
| Always Prepared | You'll have to buy two sets of armor from one of the shops (or get it as a reward in some otherway like a pre-order bonus). Any armor that comes as a set will count as a set of armor that can't be customized. These include sets like the Terminus Armor or Blood Dragon Armor. |
| Almost There | See "Peak Condition" |
| Peak Condition | Hit either milestone to get these achievements. If you are strictly concerned for the achievements, it is faster and more efficient (other achievements) to go for the 20 Multiplayer Levels than for the level 60. Of course, if you're level 59 after completing the campaign, then that's different but generally speaking, this is the case. |
| Battle Scarred | Completing ME3 with an ME3 import character is pretty self-explanatory. Unless you DID NOT import an ME2 character (meaning you need another playthrough for the Long Service Medal anyway), promoting a multiplayer character is faster. To promote a character, get any character to level 20 and then on the character screen, you'll be able to hit a button to promote the character. This will return the class to level 1, add 10 levels to your N7 rank, and automatically adds a war asset worth 75 points to all of your campaigns. |
| Unwavering | If you've got a good team, it can be faster and easier to go for the gold medal. It'll probably take 20-30 minutes per map and since you can control the enemies, it can be quite easy. However, since teammates can be unreliable, I'd say go for the Insanity. It's not that much harder and you only have to rely on yourself. |
DLC: From Ashes
| Freedom Fighter | To get this, you must find the three pieces of intel during the mission on Eden Prime. To find out where they are, check out the "Priority: Eden Prime" page. |
| Prothean Expert | Simply complete "Priority: Eden Prime" to get this achievement |
