From Ashes is a DLC pack from BioWare for Mass Effect 3. It was released with the launch of the game which created a controversy among the gaming community. It is also included in the N7 collectors edition of the game.
It takes place on the Eden Prime colony where Cerberus has staged an attack in hope of finding a rare prothean artifact. The player must repel Cerberus and recover the Prothean artifact which might turn out to be something unexpected. It includes a new weapon, two missions, another squad mate and a new appearance for every squad member.
