The Salarians were the second species to join the Citadel, and thus have a seat on the Citadel Council. They are warm-blooded amphibians. Their fast metabolisms mean that they rarely live past 40, but their extreme intelligence means that they can still achieve much in a lifetime. The Salarian homeworld is Sur’Kesh.
