Palaven is the homeworld of the Turians. Roughly the size of earth, Palaven has a population of 6.1 billion. It is located in the Apien Crest.
Shepard travels to Palaven near the beginning of Mass Effect 3 to find the Turian Primarch so that the Turians will be willing to lend their support to the human war effort.
