The multiplayer characters can use a range of different weapons, which can be broken down into five categories: assault rifles, heavy pistols, shotguns, sniper rifles and submachine guns.
Weapons are acquired as part of the multiplayer packs which are purchased using credits from missions. Each time a weapon is found in a pack, its level increases, up to level ten. Any class can use any weapon, but some weapons are heavier than anothers, and using heavy weapons slows down your cooldowns.
