The Asari were the first of the modern races to find the Citadel. They are renowned for their intelligence and biotic ability. They have only one gender, which appears female. They can mate with organisms of any species and any gender, but the child is essentially a clone of the Asari. The Asari homeworld is Thessia. Notable Asari include Liara T’Soni and Aria T’Loak.
