Turians are a militaristic race, and the third of the four Council races. Boasting one of the strongest militaries in the galaxy, the Turians defeated the Krogan and put down the Krogan Rebellions, earning them the gratitude of other races. They fought in the First Contact War against humanity, but relations have improved considerably since then. The Turian homeworld is Palaven. Notable Turians include Saren Arterius and Garrus Vakarian
