The Water Street Gang is one of the two main factions inside the Sun On Yee Triad. They are one of the main interests to Wei Shen and the Hong Kong P.D.
Winston Chu, a Red Pole, is the head of the Water Street Gang. With the help of street thug and childhood friend, Jackie Ma, he is assigned into the Sun On Yee by proving his worth to Chu and Water Street. The Water Street Gang currently have a rivalry with their brother faction, the Jade Gang, a reason not really highlighted as other than business interests and personal vendettas.
The Water Street Gang control some parts of North Point, Hong Kong, and operate from The Golden Koi, a restaurant ran by Winston's mother, Mrs. Chu. Wei's involvement in their businesses is useful to his undercover assignment, but over the course of the storyline, he will wind up entangled in the interests of both Water Street and the Sun On Yee itself.
