The Spartan Laser is one of the few energy based human weapons. It is capable of shooting a high powered Laser that has (previously) been capable of killing multiple enemies in a single hit, no matter where they were hit and destroying even the toughest vehicles at any range with no more than two shots.
The weapon's capacity has been decreased to only four shots though this has been made more obvious by a segmented bar as opposed to the single long bar from previous games. Considering this change and the addition of the Rail Gun, it's hard to determine just how powerful the weapon will be and how long it's charge time will be. Previously, it was the most powerful weapon in the game.
