The Flame Grenadier is both a specialized Drone and a specialized Grenadier. These troops tend to sport a lot of armor and carry a large gas tank on their back. Their main weapon is a Scorcher with a medium range. Probably more important than the actual damage of the weapon is the use of the weapon as a means to shock their enemy and obscure their vision. Of similar note is their use of a specialized type of Incendiary Grenade that ruptures on contact. If it directly strikes a Gear then it can result in instant death but the resulting fire is equally deadly if well placed.
While they are vulnerable when shot in the head like most other Drones, the most useful method of dealing with these Drones is to go for their gas tank. The gas tank is highly volatile and if you can rupture it, the tank will spout flames for a moment before exploding. This explosion can take out other enemies in the vicinity but be warned that it can be particularly harmful to you as well.
