| The first defense you come across might surprise you a little but after that, this serves more to disorient you and soak up your ammo than to actually cause you problems. Once you get the hang of it, you can even use these defenses to your advantage but keep in mind that kills by the defenses don't necessarily count for your score. |
Grab the Booshka to your right and stock up on ammo before heading to the left. Don't climb over the first barrier because the first Sentry Gun is just over the barrier and to the left. Bounce a Booshka shot around the turret and destroy it (may take some practice). Watch for the Grubs (possibly Theron) in the area and start making your way to the house when you can. Inside the house are two more Sentries so do some more Booshka bouncing. Shoot your way through the laser fences and get into the building as quickly as possible.
When you get there, you're going to get attacked pretty viciously. There will be lots of Bloodmounts and Theron in the area in front of the building. If you run out, you'll also have to contend with a Mortar up above at the top of the building. Unfortunately, you won't be able to see him so you'll have to storm his position to take him out. There is a Tripwire Crossbow in here which can be of great use against the Bloodmounts so either set it up or fire it directly at the Bloodmounts.
Before leaving this building, be aware that there's a turret at the end of the road on the left. If you aren't careful, you can run right by it and get blasted. Run towards the building and before climbing the steps, run into the building. Inside, turn around the corner to the right to find the [COG Tags]. Grab any Torque bow ammo that you can. Now start climbing the stairs and take out the Mortar at the top.
With the Mortar gone, enemies will pop into the street and start to attack you. Use the good range of the Torque Bow to help with what should be predominantly Theron Guards. You'll be attacked by large groups of them, some with Torque bows (so be careful) and some with Cleavers. When their numbers start to thin, you'll be attacked by a Reaver. Use the mortar on the Reaver, any remaining Torque Bow ammo and then finish it with whatever you have left.
When the Reaver is gone, get ammo downstairs (across the street from this building is a low garage with an Onyx Box). Head for the Waypoint and finish the mission.
