The Gorgon Burst Pistol is a rapid fire pistol commonly used by the Kantus and Armored Kantus. It has the least accuracy of the pistols but is still surprisingly accurate if you wait a moment between each burst. Further, when used at close to medium range, the weapon is one of the most powerful weapons in the game.
It isn't uncommon for people to go for this weapon, particularly if they are planning on taking on a meat shield. However, the weapon has lost some of its edge since players can now use two handed weapons like the Lancer with the Boomshield. This does balance the weapon slightly because it was previously the most used pistol by far. Now it is slightly less useful and in cases where you might want to use a pistol for a little more range, the Snub Pistol or Boltok Pistol might be preferred.
