The Frag Grenade is very much the same as it used to be except that its a much more viable weapon in combat because of the use of the new grenade button. Most enemies caught in a Frag grenade blast will be killed instantly whether the grenade be tossed, stuck, or planted as trap. Because of the new quick toss feature, the grenade becomes incredibly useful for closing E-Holes. Because of how quickly you can toss the grenade, you can usually close the hole and kill the entire first wave before they even exit the hole.
