Walk up the stairs and the Crimson Omen will be on the wall to the right.

| "Kilo Squad claimed to witness sophisticated defense tactics despite COG intel to the contrary." Locust use Oneshots to protect mortars. |
| There will be three OneShots that are protecting the two Mortars in the next area. These can provide quite a challenge. |
In this room, to the left will be a Longshot by the desk. Definitely be sure to grab this. When you have this in hand, go over the rubble to the stairs beyond and climb up to the left. Follow this around the back of the structure and you'll find a Gnasher Turret. Grab that and take it all the way around the far side. Position it by the stairs so that avenue is blocked. Take the Longshot inside the long structure here and post up against the column furthest to the left. This will provide the best protection from the Oneshots.
For the most part, your squad should be able to handle the land based enemies attacking you including the various Boomers, Wretches and Grubs. These can be just about any type within the class including Lancer or Torque Bow Therons and every type of Boomer. If they do get close, unload on them with your Lancer (or other close range weapon). If you run out of ammo for either of your weapons, there is a Markza on the far left side.
While keeping an eye on the ground enemies, you'll want to attack the heavy weapons enemies above. Four of the five are on the balcony of the building and the last is in a small hole at the apex of the roof. Start on the balcony. The first one you want to get is the Mortar on the left side of the Balcony. He is in the largest hole on the far left side and might be a little hard to see with the flames near him.
After that one, you can either go for the second mortar at the apex of the building or sweep the balcony for the three Oneshots. The first mortar was a priority because it will continually down the rest of your squad who will likely be fighting outside in front of you but the second mortar won't be as devastating so the Oneshots may be a higher priority for your own personal safety -- particularly if sniping is a weaker skill for you. Otherwise, I would go for the second mortar before the Oneshots simply because the mortars don't move very much and it's a comparatively easy quick scope that gives a lot of benefit to your squad.
When the major hitters up above are taken care of, help with the ground forces and certainly see about plugging any E-Holes there might be. Your current position is pretty safe now so don't feel compelled to move. In fact, you might want to swap for the Markza because it is pretty perfect range for most of the courtyard. Now that the enemies are clear, run up to the building and go around the left side. You should see a garage down below and inside the garage will be your [COG Tags] on the left next to some shelves and tireds.
Head for the waypoint and you'll be done with the chapter.
