Gears of War: Judgment

Set years before the events of the previous Gears of War trilogy, Judgment centers on Kilo Squad, a troop of soldiers led by Damon Baird and Augustus "The Cole Train" Cole. They are joined by newcomers to the Gears series, Sofia Hendricks and Garron Paduk, as they attempt to save the besieged city of Halvo Bay from a terrifying new enemy. Gears of War: Judgment depicts the planet Sera on the brink of annihilation by an unstoppable new Locust menace, giving you a new vantage point into one of the richest and most acclaimed sagas in gaming.

As with all Gears of War games, Judgment delivers intense co-op gameplay. Play cooperatively with up to three friends on Xbox LIVE (four players total) and experience more challenging gameplay scenarios and achievements by uncovering critical information during the course of the campaign with Judgement’s all new “Mission Declassification” system.

Gears of War: Aftermath

Gears of War: Aftermath is packaged on the Gears of War: Judgment disk. After completing the main story of Gears of War: Judgment, players will be able to play Gears of War: Aftermath. It details the events of the battle at Asura from the perspective of Cole and Baird. The goal for developers was two fold: Provide a more traditional Gears experience for loyal Gears fans while making Gears of War: Judgment a complete bookend of the series.

Multiplayer

Multiplayer makes a return in Gears of War: Judgment. While standard modes such as Warzone, Execution and the newer Team Death Match have not been confirmed, it is likely that they will return in some fashion. The only two modes that HAVE been confirmed are Free-for-All which has you playing against nine other players for the most kills in the match (the first mode to allow you to kill people of your own faction) and Overrun which is sort of a fusion of Beast and Horde.

Weapons

There are many different weapons in Gears of War. Each one is powerful, gruesome, and excels in the right situation. Some weapons are indirect, such as the Digger Launcher which will shoot a Digger under ground that can pop up after passing by cover and explode next to an enemy. Others are very direct and involve pointing at a target and pulling the trigger. All of them are very dangerous.

Locust

The Locust Horde is the main antagonist of the Gears of War series. They have lived hidden underground until Emergence Day when they came out of the ground in almost every major human city on Sera. The Horde consists of all sorts of creatures from the mostly humanoid Drones to lumbering beasts like the Berzerker and Brumak down to tiny creatures like the Kryll and Wretches.
