The Boltok Pistol is a high powered pistol with a six shot clip. It is capable of getting a headshot on most grubs with a single shot and is moderately capable of even dealing with Boomer class enemies in short order. The weapon has a 2x zoom on it which when coupled with it's high power can act as a small scale sniper rifle.
The Boltok is an all around good weapon and is comparable to the larger weapons like the Gnasher and Lancer. It is much more versatile than the Snub Pistol which has a good rate of fire but lacks the clip size to support it. While the Boltok has good power and range, it doesn't excel in any particular aspect except for when using a human shield. For this reason, it's a good weapon but usually passed up for other more specialized weapons such as the Gnasher (for close range power) or Longshot (for a better zoom).
