The Hammer of Dawn is a very important and powerful weapon. Aside from the Lightmass Missile, the Hammer of Dawn is the single most powerful known weapon in the world. It requires powerful satelites in space to launch a powerful beam towards the planet which can be used to destroy anything from single individuals to entire cities. Because of the use a power as a fuel source (which can be gained in space easily through solar panels) and coupled with its exceptional accuracy, it is the preferred weapon to the Light Mass Missile.
To use one of these weapons, you need to first have a target designator. Using this, you have to keep a laser on your target to paint it. After a period of time, you'll see the lasers coordinating before they shoot down from the sky to destroy your target. It's an extremely deadly weapon but it can be dangerous to use because of how long it takes to power up and the tell-tale beam indicating its use.
