The Longshot Sniper Rifle is a high power rifle capable of downing most enemies with a body shot or killing with a head shot. Some enemies are initially immune to this head shot such as the Mauler and Grinder who wear helmets.
With the introduction of the Markza, the Longshot has shifted from the only long range percision weapon to the higher powered, longer range weapon. This doesn't mean that the weapon should be disregarded because in the hands of a skilled sniper, the Longshot is a powerful weapon.
